About Slidell Christian Academy

Slidell Christian Academy was created and exists today as an extension of the body of Christ. It is our goal to provide a safe, challenging environment where each child will experience the joy of learning and succeeding in academics as well as becoming all that God created them to be! We utilize the complete Abeka Curriculum in a non-denominational setting particularly suited to today's families seeking biblical solutions to life's situations.

Founded in 1993, Slidell Christian Academy is an American Association of Christian Schools (AACS)  member school.

Enrollment is dependent upon testing and interview; re-enrollment is by invitation. For more information contact the Administrative Offices at (985) 641-3785.

Discipline

We believe the Bible teaches that it is the parent's responsibility to "train up a child in the way he should go," and that our function is to assist them in accomplishing that goal. We therefore utilize biblical principles and procedures in administering discipline.

Slidell Christian Academy is a Christian ministry. As such, we do not permit language, behavior, dress or attitudes on the part of students or parents that are not in keeping with Christ-likeness. Students or parents who do not find it possible to cooperate happily with this may be asked to leave or may not be invited to re-enroll.
